Amy Waller from German Wine Collective joins us for a tasting of German wines to take us beyond what you expect. There are so many cool wines coming out of Germany that we cannot wait for you to try— she’s pouring four wines AND we are offering a flight of three more for just $20. This is a great chance to experience it all!

Amy was born into restaurant life in rural Minnesota, learning the art of hospitality from her mom at their small family restaurant. Those early lessons — the importance of service, passion, connection, and community — have guided her through more than 25 years in the industry.

She has worked at a number of iconic Twin Cities establishments, including Lucia's, Khâluna, and the James Beard Award-winning The Bachelor Farmer, where she fell in love with German wine and has spent years honing her expertise ever since. A Wines of Germany Ambassador since 2018, she has hosted educational seminars and tastings for German wine enthusiasts across the country, and now brings that passion full circle in her role with The German Wine Collection, focused exclusively on German wine imports.

Amy has furthered her wine education through studies with the Court of Master Sommeliers, the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and the Wine Scholar Guild, and she travels to Germany regularly to stay connected with her growers.

It's rare to see her without a bottle of Riesling in tow.
